I am excitedly awaiting a mini-vacation to Las Vegas next week and will only be going for 3 nights, which does not merit checking a bag in my opinion. I have friends who pack a suitcase for an overnight visit, but that’s not my style. Only necessities come with me and my motto is: If I forgot it, then it wasn’t important enough to remember, in which case I don’t need it.

….unless what I forgot is a toothbrush, in which a field trip to the local pharmacy or a call to the front desk is made. Nothing says vacation like dragon breath, right? Wrong!

The hardest part about bringing only a carry-on bag is that you’re limited to that 3-1-1 rule (maximum 3 ounces, 1 quart-sized bag, 1 bag per traveler). How is a beauty fanatic supposed to travel like that!? My contact solution has already been axed from the equation because it’ll take up too much space in my bag. I’ll buy some when I check in to my hotel. Obviously I have my priorities in order
